Club Penguin Help Page

To get started playing Club Penguin, you can select create a free account on the main page at: http://www.clubpenguin.com , or if you wish to be a member (if your a member you can buy items, upgrade your igloo, etc.) click on membership and select create account. To be a member, you must pay. It is around $6-$7 a month to be a member. You can now buy prepaid cards at Target stores in the U.S. for membership. Once you started playing the game, you will be put on an area on the map (most likely the Town or Gift Shop). To move, you simply clike where you want to go! to talk click on the chatbar below your screen and type something, then click enter. The words will appear in a bubble above your head and others can read what you said. To view what everyone has said, click on the blue bar at the top of the screen, this will display the last 10 or more comments made in the room. You can also do “emotes” which are smiley faces, and an assorted mix of other things. To do this, click on the smiley face on the bottom of the screen. You are also able to dance and wave in the game. To do this, click on the penguin at the bottom of the screen then select dance or wave. You can also dance by hitting D on your keyboard and sit by hitting S or the arrow keys. There is also quickchat which you can access by click on the bubble at the bottom of the screen. There is a newspaper which you can read by click on it at the top of the screen, a new paper will come out every week, and it contains news, events, jokes, etc. You have a map for quick travel too. Access this by clicking on the map on the top of the screen. From there, click on the place you want to go. To log off when your done playing, click log off on the thop of the screen.
